Have you heard the news? Carnival has enhanced its military rate program for the month of November, allowing those eligible to receive up to two additional cabins for family and friends at the same low military rate. This offer will be available on select ships and sailings through April 30, 2011.
Remember, however, that as usual this offer applies to only certain ships and sailing dates, although offhand I even see a few spring sailings of the Freedom, Splendour, and Valor on the list, as well as some of the older ships in the fleet.
An appropriate tribute to our military for Veteran’s Day month. Hubby Ben and our daughter’s father-in-law were among those honored in a special ceremony at the elementary school where she teaches fourth grade.
We take time to salute all active duty and retired military members, with a special long-distance hug to my two nephews Scott and Brent who currently serve in Iraq.
